What Is the PF Series LED Linear Light?
The PF Series is a suspended and surface-mounted LED linear light that delivers 5,200 lm from 40 W in a 1,200 mm body at a Unified Glare Rating below 19, built for open-plan offices and commercial ceilings that need continuous runs of up to 20 metres. It is one of four profiles in our LED linear lighting range, and the one specified when the ceiling layout calls for straight, L, T or X-shaped runs rather than a single isolated fixture.
- Two standard lengths. The PF-1200 measures 1200 × 50 × 70 mm at 40 W; the PF-1500 measures 1500 × 50 × 70 mm at 50 W.
- Glare control. The UGR<19 diffuser configuration meets the glare limit that EN 12464-1 sets for office workstations and screen-based tasks.
- Seamless linking. Up to 10 fixtures connect end to end without visible gaps or exposed wiring, for a maximum continuous run of 20 metres.
- Habitação. The body is 6063 extruded aluminium with a soft PC diffuser, finished in white or black, rated IP20 for indoor use.
- Efficacy and life. The PF Series exceeds 130 lm/W with a power factor above 0.95 and a rated life of 50,000 hours, backed by a 5-year warranty.
Which mounting method and connector layout a project needs depends on the ceiling type — and that is where the sections below start.
- The soft PC diffuser spreads light evenly across the aperture, so the PF Series produces no visible hot spots and no dazzling bright line along the run.

- Paired with a DALI or 1-10V driver, the PF Series can be dimmed to daylight levels, which lowers energy use and extends driver life at the same time.
Seamless Linking: Up to 10 Fixtures in One 20 m Run
Up to 10 PF Series fixtures link end to end into a single continuous line, giving a maximum run of 20 metres. The joint carries both the mechanical connection and the power feed, so no gap, no dark segment and no exposed cable appears between fixtures.
- One driver feed supplies the whole linked run, which cuts installation labour and the number of ceiling penetrations.
- The aluminium end caps align the profiles mechanically, so the diffuser line stays straight across the full run.
- Runs longer than 20 metres are handled by splitting into separate circuits — we size the feed points on request.
Glare Control: UGR<19 and UGR<24 Diffuser Options
Unified Glare Rating (UGR) measures how much discomfort glare a luminaire causes an occupant looking at it from a normal working position. The PF Series is supplied in two diffuser configurations, so the same profile can serve a screen-based office and a circulation area without changing product.
- UGR<19 diffuser — 80° beam, 4,400 lm on the PF-1200 and 5,500 lm on the PF-1500. This is the configuration to specify for desks, meeting rooms and any workstation covered by EN 12464-1.
- UGR<24 diffuser — 110° beam, 5,200 lm on the PF-1200 and 6,500 lm on the PF-1500. Higher output for corridors, storage and open circulation where screen glare is not the constraint.

Connector Types for Continuous Runs
Four connector accessories turn the PF Series profile into a ceiling layout: a straight in-line joint plus L, T and X junctions. Each is ordered with the fixtures and shipped as a matched set.
Straight (“—”) In-Line Connector
The straight connector joins two fixtures end to end along one axis. It is the layout used in most open-plan offices, because a single unbroken line reads as architecture rather than as a row of separate luminaires, and it is the simplest to set out on site.
L-Shaped Connector for Corner Runs
The L-shaped connector turns a run through 90° at a corner, so the light line follows the wall instead of stopping short of it. It suits perimeter offices and corner workstations, where an interrupted run would leave the corner under-lit.
T-Shaped Connector for Branching Layouts
The T-shaped connector branches a third arm off a continuous run at 90°. It is used where a main corridor line feeds side bays or breakout zones, letting one lighting circuit serve two different room depths.
X-Shaped Connector for Cross Layouts
The X-shaped connector crosses two runs at a single point, producing a grid or lattice of light lines. It is specified for larger floor plates where the lighting layout has to read as a pattern across the whole ceiling rather than as parallel rows.
Combining straight, L, T and X connectors, a PF Series installation can be set out as squares, rectangles or crosses to match the ceiling grid.
Installation Options: Suspended vs Surface Mounted
The PF Series ships with both mounting kits, so the same fixture can be suspended or surface mounted without a different order code. Which one a project uses is decided by ceiling height and ceiling construction.
- Suspended (pendant). The fixture hangs from steel wires or rods, typically 300–800 mm below the slab. Suspension lets light reflect off the ceiling as well as down onto the task plane, which softens the contrast in a room with a dark ceiling. It is the option for exposed-services ceilings and for floor-to-ceiling heights above 2.8 m.
- Montado na superfície. The fixture fixes directly to the slab or plasterboard. It keeps the full ceiling height clear, which matters below 2.8 m, and it is the faster installation of the two because no drop length has to be set out.
Where a recessed detail is required instead, the PD Series recessed linear luminaire uses the same connector system in a trimless profile.

Beyond the two standard lengths, the PF Series is built to order. As a factory with 17 years of engineering experience, we change the specification at the tooling and driver level rather than re-labelling a stock item.

Can the PF Series be surface mounted as well as suspended?
Yes. Every PF Series fixture ships with both a suspension kit and a surface-mount kit, so the same order code covers either method. Suspend it 300–800 mm below the slab where the ceiling height is above 2.8 m, or fix it directly to the ceiling where headroom is tight. Recessed and track versions are available in the PD and TH profiles.
What is the difference between the UGR<19 and UGR<24 versions?
The difference is the diffuser and the beam angle. The UGR<19 version uses an 80° beam and delivers 4,400 lm on the PF-1200; the UGR<24 version uses a 110° beam and delivers 5,200 lm. Specify UGR<19 for desks and screen-based workstations, and UGR<24 for corridors and circulation where output matters more than glare control.
How many PF Series fixtures can be connected in one run?

Is the PF Series suitable for EN 12464-1 office lighting?
The UGR<19 configuration is built for it. EN 12464-1 limits unified glare rating to 19 for offices, writing, typing, reading and data-processing areas, and the 80° diffuser version of the PF Series is supplied to that limit. We provide IES files and photometric reports so your designer can verify the installed UGR for the actual room geometry.
What does the customization service include?
We customize length, colour temperature, driver function (DALI, 1-10V, emergency, sensor), diffuser optics, housing colour, connector configuration, packaging and your logo. Standard products are single-CCT; tunable-white and CCT-adjustable drivers are available as a customization.
What is the MOQ and lead time for a PF Series order?
Samples ship in 3–5 days and bulk production takes 20–25 working days after artwork and specification are confirmed. We keep the minimum order quantity low for standard configurations; custom tooling or a custom length raises it. Contato with your quantity and layout for an exact figure.
